A distinguished, experienced, and highly respected professional in the corporate world, with a specialized focus on the hospitality and tourism industries. His extensive expertise and leadership have earned him recognition across multiple professional domains. He currently holds the following prominent positions:


President – Postgraduate Institute of Management Alumni (PIMA), representing a network of over 5,000 MBA graduates.
Chairman – Institute of Hospitality (UK), Sri Lanka Region.
Chairman – Tourism and Hospitality Sub-Committee, Organization of Professional Associations of Sri Lanka (OPA).
President – Maris Stella College Old Boys Association, Colombo Branch.
Executive Committee Member – Organization of Professional Associations of Sri Lanka (OPA).
Visiting Lecturer – Undergraduate programs in Tourism and Hospitality Entrepreneurship.


His passion for travel, tourism, and hospitality is evident through his successful entrepreneurial ventures. He is the founder of two thriving destination management companies serving global B2B partners. His business portfolio also includes a popular beachside restaurant with a 100-cover capacity, a high-end café with 50 covers, and banquet facilities that can accommodate up to 400 guests.


With a relentless drive for growth and innovation, he is now preparing for the next milestone: the development of two purpose-built boutique hotels, further expanding his contributions to Sri Lanka's vibrant tourism and hospitality landscape.

His leadership has been instrumental in streamlining financial processes, optimizing resources, and driving sustainable growth. A results-driven professional with a keen eye for detail, he continues to contribute to the company’s long-term success through strategic financial planning and effective administration

His strategic marketing approach, combined with strong leadership, ensures Sunway Holidays remains a leading player in the industry.

With a results-driven mindset and a vast industry network, Samantha continues to lead innovative sales and marketing initiatives, fostering long-term partnerships and enhancing the company's market share.

Ms. Malsha Jayawardana

 joined the company in 2017 and contributed significantly to the Finance and Management departments. She took a brief hiatus to pursue advanced studies in Poland and, upon her return, resumed her role as Business Manager. Currently serving as Senior Business Manager, she oversees business development, strategic planning, and growth initiatives. Her extensive business travels across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East have given her valuable insights into international market dynamics and business promotion strategies.
